Zurvan — Animated Short

A Two-Minute Film about Transience, Guilt, and the Value of Life

The sole survivor of an expedition arrives on Vonia, a dead planet whose civilization destroyed itself through its own war machines. Presented in a striking silhouette art style, the film takes viewers on a journey through the remnants of a fallen world. A contemplative voice-over monologue accompanies the astronaut’s final moments as his oxygen runs out, reflecting on the irreversible loss of life and the meaning of the word “never.”

“The universe expands…,” says the protagonist Zurvan Worod, “I am left alone.”
Amidst the silence of a forgotten planet, he realizes: True values are often recognized only in their loss.
